Important Dates

The Property Tax Deadlines in New York State vary from county to county. In order to file an appeal during a tax year a Grievance as well as a Petition must be filed by the appropriate deadline.

While your case is being appealed you must pay your taxes by the due date listed on your tax bill or you will incur interest and penalties.

Below is a list of due dates by county for your reference. Please note these dates are subject to change and must be verified each year. The dates are listed for general information only and should not be relied upon without verification by the respective municipality.

Please note if your property is in a Village, City or Upstate (Westchester or higher) these dates may not apply and you should call to confirm.
