Brad Cronin is the founding partner of Cronin & Cronin, a law firm dedicated exclusively to tax certiorari. With more than 40 years of experience in the field, Cronin has developed long-standing relationships with major real estate developers, property owners, municipal officials and real estate professionals. His expertise has resulted in an extensive client base representing commercial properties in virtually every Long Island community. Cronin has secured significant reductions in property taxes for some of the region’s largest and most high-profile properties.
A regular contributor to the New York Real Estate Journal, Cronin writes the quarterly “Ask the Expert” column on real property tax matters. He has established legal precedent on a number of key tax certiorari issues, including the valuation of golf courses, multifamily properties and retail assets. He has been consistently recognized by LIBN as a Who’s Who in both Tax Certiorari and Commercial Real Estate. He was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Long Island Herald for his expertise in real property tax law and named among Long Island’s Commercial Real Estate Visionaries by the New York Real Estate Journal.
Cronin is frequently invited to speak on topics related to property tax valuation, including condominium assessments, environmental contamination and emerging valuation issues. He serves on the executive board of the Long Island Real Estate Group and is a past president of the organization. In addition, he sits on the associate board of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and is a co-founder of the Northwell Hospital Department of Medicine leadership circle committee.
