Long Island Business News: Cara Cronin Named LI Top Influencer in Law

Cara Cronin is a partner at Cronin & Cronin Law Firm, which focuses on tax certiorari and protests real property tax assessments for commercial properties throughout New York State. Cronin represents commercial property owners across Nassau and Suffolk counties, New York City, Westchester and several upstate jurisdictions. She leads the firm’s motion and appellate practice, overseeing strategic briefing and advocacy in complex litigation matters.
Active in the regional real estate community, Cronin serves as co-president of the Long Island Real Estate Group, which promotes networking, professional collaboration and charitable work in the commercial real estate industry and allied trades. She is a co-founder of LIREG W, a subset of LIREG that supports and advances women in the commercial real estate community.
Cronin teaches second- and third-year law students about the field of tax certiorari as part of the Real Estate Development Seminar each fall at the Hofstra University School of Law.
In addition to her industry leadership, Cronin serves on the board of the EAC Network, a nonprofit that provides vital social services and community-based programs that benefit individuals and families in need across Long Island and New York City.
Before joining Cronin & Cronin in 2011, she worked in Washington, D.C. at the National Republican Congressional Committee. She remains active in politics and has consulted on multiple Long Island New York State Senate campaigns.
Cronin has two daughters and is an avid runner who has completed 14 half-marathons and the New York City Marathon.
